Publisher's Foreword
The maamar (Chassidic Discourse) to follow focuses on the verse Michah 7:15 "As in the days of your exodus from Egypt, I will show [the people] wonders," quoting and clarifying the classic explanations given by the previous Rebbeim on this verse. It highlights the continuous dynamic of redemption that began with the exodus and will culminate with the coming of the Redemption through Moshiach.
It also highlights the personal dimension of that dynamic, that each day, every one of us must seek to go beyond the constraints that restrain the expression of his personal Divine potential.
May our study of the Rebbe's teachings inspire us to complete the spiritual mission with which he has charged us. And may these endeavors evoke G-d's blessings, including the ultimate blessing, the coming of the Redemption and the fulfillment of the prophecy: Yeshayahu 26:19 "You who repose in the dust, arise and sing."
